Biography - D'London
Pop singer D’London, also known as D’Lo, a Southern California native, grew up by the beach. At the age of 14 while visiting her Mom (a violist with the L.A. Philharmonic Orchestra and an honorary violin and viola professor at the Bolzano Music Festival in Italy), she was inspired to begin writing songs. When D’Lo returned to sunny California, she recorded the songs she wrote on her trip. With the help of her jazz pianist and music arranger father, they worked together recording the music in his studio. Even though D'Lo performed in several high school drama productions, in her heart she knew singing was her passion, and felt a calling toward her lifelong dream.
Songstress D’Lo is confident her first chartbuster, the sizzling, sexy sound “X Marks the Spot,” will have listeners rocking to the heart-pounding beat. Hallo! Ich bin Josie Bernales, Komponistin, Textdichterin und Sängerin.
Das Licht der Welt erblickte ich auf der Insel Mindanao in der philippinischen Provinz Davao. Aufgewachsen bin ich auf der Insel Mindoro.
Nach einer bewegten Kindheit und dem Collegeabschluss beendete ich mein Studium mit dem "Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education"; mein Hauptfach - „Girls Vocational Courses“ (Berufsbildung für Frauen).
Ich lebe schon lange in Deutschland und habe in all den Jahren dieses Land, die Menschen und die herrlichen Landschaften kennen und lieben gelernt. Am meisten fasziniert hat mich schon immer die Sprache. Diese zu lernen war für mich eine große Herausforderung. Heute schreibe ich viele meiner Liedtexte in deutsch, um meine Liebe zu dieser Sprache zum Ausdruck zu bringen. Die Deutschen sind ein warmherziges und sensibles Volk, das ich in mein Herz geschlossen habe. Das Land steckt voller Kraft, Kultur und Emotionen. Daraus schöpfe ich die Inspiration, immer wieder neue Lieder in dieser Sprache zu schreiben. Inhalt meiner Lieder sind auch sind die Erfahrungen, die ich durch meine ehrenamtliche Arbeit im sozialen Bereich gesammelt habe...
