Biography

Liliana Shaikhi (born in 1972, Turkmenistan) is a Russian singer (soprano). In 1995 she graduated from the Academy of Arts in Ufa acquiring two specialties: piano and the art of singing. 1995-2008 she was a solo performer at the Bashkir State Theatre of Opera and Ballet. In year 2003 she took part in the Vincenzo Bellini International Contest of classical singers (Ragusa, Italy) winning the prize for the highest performing quality. 2003-2005 she sharpened her skills training at the Opera Center of Galina Vishnevskaya (Moscow).
